Renee' Piskorski
Growing up in Cheyenne,
Wyoming, Renee' always spent time outdoors and became interested in art
and nature at an early age. Basically self-taught, she works mainly in
oils.
Renee' won 1st place in the
2003 Wyoming Conservation Stamp Art Competition, and has placed twice in
the top 5. She has exhibited in numerous solo, juried and invitational
shows. Her work is in collections throughout the U.S., Canada, Japan and
Europe.
Striving to capture the
setting, feeling and atmosphere of the field, she works from observation,
sketches and photographs. "The wild places and it’s many beautiful
creatures have always been my inspiration. I hope to convey through my
paintings the sense of wonder, truth and peace of the natural world."
